The "uniSTER32z/RS485" control panel is a state-of-the-art microprocessor-based central unit designed for operation in systems for the detection (sensing) of explosive and toxic gases. It is an element of the Active Gas Alarm system for active protection of various facilities against gas and vapour explosions, enabling gas detection, signalling and alarming as well as control of gas shut-off valves. The "uniSTER32z/RS485 " control panel is designed for cooperation (power supply and control) with detectors with a supply voltage of 12V, maximum current consumption of 250mA and RS485 output (Modbus RTU protocol). Configurable (software) inputs, relay and voltage outputs enable the realisation of any control, signalling and alarm functions. The control unit can cooperate with ventilation control systems, optical and acoustic signalling devices, shut-off valves (solenoid valves), industrial controllers and other automation systems.

Alarm Control Panel "uniSTER32z /RS485" is designed for operation outside explosion hazard zones.
One to thirty two detectors can be connected to the control panel - detectors with addresses 1-32.
Power supply for detectors 12V from the control panel (maximum 8 detectors, power outputs protected with polymer fuses) or from an external power supply unit 12V DC.
Power supply for the control panel - mains voltage 230 V AC. Power supply back-up - internal battery 12V/2.2Ah, time up to 1h.

Outputs - any functions performed, programmed with the PAGster32 configuration software:
Types of outputs:

  • relay - 6 relays, with NO/NC contacts, with programmable functions
  • voltage 12V, OC-NO type), three outputs with programmable functions
  • impulse 12V, high-current, for control of shut-off valve coils, with programmable functions
  • digital - RS485 connection, Modbus RTU protocol.

Optical signalling (LCD display) and acoustic signalling (internal buzzer) of the exceeded alarm thresholds Al1 and Al2, alarm memory, detector failure, optical signalling (LED) of output activation, optical signalling (LED) of mains and battery power supply.
Enclosure made of ABS plastic, cable inlets (glands) - 9 x PG11.

  • uniSTER32z /RS485 - 32-detector control panel with RS485 input (Modbus RTU protocol)
  • uniSTER32z /RS485/RS-WY - 32-detector control panel with RS485 input (Modbus RTU protocol) and RS485 output (Modbus RTU protocol)
