The "uniSTER16z/RS485" control panel is a state-of-the-art microprocessor-based central unit designed for operation in explosive and toxic gas detection (detection) systems. It is an element of the Active Gas Alarm system for active protection of various facilities against gas and vapour explosions, enabling gas detection, signalling and alarming as well as control of gas shut-off valves. The "uniSTER16z/RS485 " alarm control panel is designed for cooperation (power supply and control) with detectors with a supply voltage of 12V, maximum current consumption of 250mA and RS485 output (Modbus RTU protocol). Configurable (software) inputs, relay and voltage outputs enable the realisation of any control, signalling and alarm functions. The control unit can cooperate with ventilation control systems, optical and acoustic signalling devices, shut-off valves (solenoid valves), industrial controllers and other automation systems.
The "uniSTER16z /RS485" control panel is designed for operation outside explosion hazard zones.
One to sixteen detectors can be connected to the control panel - detectors with addresses 1-16.
Power supply for detectors - 12 V, protected with polymer fuses.
Control panel power supply - mains voltage ~230V. Power supply back-up - internal battery 12V/2,2Ah, time up to 1h.
Outputs - any functions performed, programmed with the PAGster control programme:
Types of outputs:
- relay - 6 relays, with NO/NC contacts, with programmable functions
- voltage 12 V OC-NO type), three outputs with programmable functions
- impulse - 12 V, high current, for controlling the coils of shut-off valves, with programmable functions
- digital - RS485 interface, Modbus RTU protocol
Optical and acoustic signalling of exceeding alarm thresholds Al1 and Al2, optical signalling of mains and battery power supply, alarm memory, detector failure and output driving.
Housing made of ABS plastic, cable entries (glands) - 9 x PG11.
