Detector cover "OBS-3"
The OBS-3 Detector Cover is designed for use wherever gas detectors may be exposed to adverse environmental conditions that can lead to flooding, or contamination with dust, varnish, mud, or other substances that impair detector operation and service conditions. A typical application for the OBS-3 cover is the protection of detectors installed in the food industry, breweries, outdoors and wherever frequent cleaning of the rooms is required, as well as in rooms with high dustiness; e.g. foundries, cement works, bulk material warehouses... etc.
The OBS-3 cover is designed to protect Pro-Service detectors with 'M' type (horizontal) housings.
The viewfinder - in the front wall of the OBS-3 cover allows the LEDs of the detector to be observed, which indicate its operation, emergency and alarm states.
The cover is made of aluminium and stainless steel and its components, to ensure tightness, are welded. The casing is powder-coated for durability (light grey as standard - any RAL colour on request).
The casing can be made entirely of stainless steel (the casing is not painted).
