Ex flammable gas detector

Universal gas sensing heads "EXpert IV" are designed for use in stationary systems for the measurement or detection of high (explosive) concentrations of gases and vapours of liquids , in explosive areas of type 1 or 2. They detect a variety of gases and explosive vapours of groups IIA, IIB and IIC with temperature classes T1...T6, e.g.: methane, LPG, hydrogen, acetylene, hexane, pentane, ammonia, petrol and oil vapours, styrene vapours, xylene, toluene, ethyl acetate, alcohol vapours. For use with a wide range of control panels and controllers. 12V DC power supply.

Depending on the version, they may have different types of outputs:
- current : continuous (4...20mA), or dual threshold 4/8/12mA
- voltage type OC (NC or NO), two outputs signalling exceeding alarm thresholds Al1 and Al2.
- digital - RS485 connection, Modbus RTU protocol, addressable detector.

Sensors used : semiconductor (non-selective, two-threshold detection), infrared (non-selective, detection or measurement), electrochemical (selective, detection or measurement), catalytic (non-selective, detection or measurement).
Metal enclosure (aluminium), steel cable gland.

Explosion-proof construction type - flameproof (type "d").

Explosion-proof construction type : II 2 G EEx d IIB T6 Gb.

EC Type Examination Certificate : OBAC 10 ATEX 030X + Annexes 1 and 2.

Areas of application : boiler houses, cold stores, sewage treatment plants, warehouses, laboratories , paint shops, gas pumping stations, etc.
