The "DINster 4" programmable gas detection controller is a stationary device designed to control detector states, visualise these states and autonomously control external devices. The "DINster 4" controller is designed to work with up to 4 detectors with OC type (NC or NO) or 4/8/12mA current detection outputs. Configurable (by users) inputs, relay and voltage outputs enable the realisation of any control, signalling and alarm functions. The "DINster 4" controller is designed for operation outside hazardous areas. Power supply 12 V or 24 V DC (11-28 V DC possible). All operating and programming information is illustrated on an LCD display of size: 2 lines of 16 alphanumeric characters. The unit is equipped with a 4-button keypad. A buzzer inside the unit is also fitted as standard.
Depending on the version, it can have different types of input :
- current : continuous (4...20mA), or dual threshold 4/8/12mA
- voltage type NO or NC, two inputs for a single detector signalling the exceeding of alarm thresholds Al1 and Al2.
Outputs:
- relay - 3 relays, with NO/NC contacts, with user-programmable functions
- Voltage outputs (OC-NO type), two outputs, with user-programmable functions
- digital - RS485 interface, Modbus RTU protocol.
