The programmable DINster® 3xRS gas detection controller is a stationary device intended for the control of detector states, the visualisation of these states and the autonomous control of external devices.
The "DINster® 3xRS" controller is used for the cooperation with up to 32 detectors with RS485 outputs (with Modbus RTU protocol).
Configurable (software) inputs, relay and voltage outputs enable the realisation of any control, signalling and alarm functions.
Thanks to the integrated real-time clock, functions such as periodic ventilation of the garage or event logging are available.
The device can be expanded with additional modules, e.g. relay modules (12 independent NO/NC outputs) used e.g. in modularPAG® control units.
The "DINster® 3xRS" controller is designed for operation outside hazardous areas.
Between one and thirty-two detectors can be connected to the controller - detectors with addresses 1-32.
Power supply 12 V DC.
All operating and programming information is shown on a display of size: 2 lines of 16 alphanumeric characters. The unit is equipped with a 4-button keypad. A buzzer is also fitted as standard inside the unit.
Output types:
- relay - 6 relays, with NO/NC contacts, with programmable functions
- RS485 type external link with Modbus RTU protocol implemented.
Control functions:
- exceeding of detector alarm thresholds : Al1/Al2/Al3 (for CO), Al1/Al2 (for LPG)
- failure of detectors
- periodic ventilation of the garage
- event logging
